About Us

Some years ago we bought Baincraig as a derelict old farm steading. We just fell in love with the situation and could see the potential. We have since rebuilt the house and over the years have gradually got the garden and outbuildings in order - but there’s always more to do!

Being here has also given us the space to indulge in our other great passion – collecting and restoring vintage tractors and cars.

In 2004, we bought some additional vehicles and began doing Vintage Car Hire – mostly for weddings. We now have a wonderful collection of vehicles, which have proved very popular indeed. There are still old tractors and machinery around too, doing odd jobs such as sawing logs for the fire or mowing the grass in the field.

Because of these other interests and for everyone’s safety, we decided that our holiday lodge would be best occupied only by adults or children over 12.
